Bojan Đorđević – OMČA je rođen 1981. godine u Beogradu. Završio je Filološku gimnaziju (2000), a diplomirao je Istoriju umetnosti na Filozofskom fakultetu takođe u Beogradu (2012). Jedan je od osnivača Kolektiva Mubareć (2006-2013) i udruženja Art Brut Serbia (2014). Sebe vidi kao samoukog umetnika naivca i fotografa amater. Izlagao je sa mnogobrojnim autorima u zemlji i inostranstvu. Prva samostalna izložba Hiljadu smrti bila je u galeriji Remont, februara 2019. Omča stvara već dvadesetak godina u medijumima od asanmblaža, kolaža do crtačkih radova.
Vizuelni izraz i poetika su se formirali i oblikovali kroz interesovanja, uticaje i otkrića likovnog stvaralaštva “primitivnih kultura” iz svih krajeva sveta, ali i srednjevekovnih iluminacija, umetničkih epoha i pokreta secesije, Bauhausa, dadaizma, umetnosti Gustava Klimta, Pola Klea, Kurta Švitersa. Upravo ta prvobitna eksperimnetisanja sa kolažno-montažnim postupcima različitih vizuelnih sadržaja, predmeta i materijala evociraju nasleđa dadaizma i Švitersove Merz-slike. Istovremeno sa kolažima i asamblažima autor počinje da se zanima za crtež razvijajući naizmenično serije radova u ovom mediju kroz apstrakciju i figuraciju.
Apstraktni crteži koji po rečima umetnika poseduju smirujući meditativan ton nastaju u vrlo posvećenim istraživanjima izabranih oblika, motiva, ritmike linija izraženih u repeticijama, šematizacijama i ornamentalnim stilizacijama. Sa druge strane figuracija u Omčinim crtežima dolazi iz prethodnih bavljenja apstrakcijom u spontanim razradama najpre manjih figuralnih predstava izolovanih na belini papira do postepenog usložnjavanja kompozicija i ikonografije. To je posebno prisutno u autorovom najzaokruženijem ciklusu crteža ili ex libris ilustracija pod nazivom Bestijarij - refleksiji neposredne, duboko intimne sfere života i egzistencije koja za rezultat ima koloritne slikovne predstave i motivski prostor erotskih konotacija, gusto ispunjen hibridnim spojevima i prepletima ljudskih figura, delova tela, flore, faune ili izmaštanih bića.
Iako na prvi pogled mogu izgledati disparatno naročito u interpretacijama različitih vizuelnih i stilskih referenci Omčine radove pre svega povezuje specifično uosećavanje sveta koje vode delikatna, nijansirana psihološka i emotivna stanja i procesi stanja i čista imaginacija.

Bojan Đorđević - OMČA was born in 1981 in Belgrade, where he graduated from the History of Art at the Faculty of Philosophy (2012). He is one of the founders of the Mubareć Collective (2006-2013) and the association Art Brut Serbia (2014). He sees himself as a self-taught naive artist and amateur photographer. He has exhibited with numerous authors in the country and abroad. The first solo exhibition One Thousand Deaths was in the gallery Remont in February 2019. Omča has been creating for twenty years in mediums ranging from assemblages, collages to drawings.
Visual expression and poetics of Bojan´s works were formed and shaped through the interests, influences, and discoveries of the artistic creativity of "primitive cultures" from all over the world, but also medieval illuminations, different art epochs and the art movement Art Nouveau, Bauhaus, Dadaism, the art of Gustav Klimt, Paul Klee, Kurt Schwitters. These experiments with collage-montage procedures of different visual contents, objects and materials evoke the legacy of Dadaism and Schwitters' Merz paintings. In parallel with collages and assemblages, the author begins to take an interest in drawing, alternately developing series of works in this medium through abstraction and figuration.
Abstract drawings, which according to the artist have a calming meditative tone, are created in very dedicated research of selected forms, motifs, rhythmic lines expressed in repetitions, schematizations, and ornamental stylizations. On the other hand, the figuration in Omča's drawings comes from previous dealings with abstraction in spontaneous elaborations of smaller figural representations isolated on white paper until the gradual complexity of compositions and iconography.
Although at first glance they may seem disparate, especially in the interpretations of different visual and stylistic references, Omča's works are primarily connected by a specific perception of the world led by delicate, nuanced psychological and emotional states and processes of state and pure imagination.
